Host Facility - EAP Regional Clinics
Throughout all levels of the Emerging Athletes Program, USHJA works in partnership with the host
facilities to produce quality Regional Clinics. USHJA offers 10 Regional Clinics in areas where an
appropriate host facility applies and that best serve the demographic population and geographic
balance of those interested in participating in the program. Regional Clinics are four days in length with 24 riders and their horses being invited to attend.
The host facility does not have to be a show facility to be considered. Private farms, boarding facilities, universities, prep schools, et cetera may apply, as long as the facility can meet USHJA/EAP requirements.
Facility managers interested in hosting a Regional Clinic must submit an EAP Host Facility Application. Host facilities are determined on an annual basis by evaluating applications, geographical balance, ability of the facility to meet USHJA/EAP requirements, variance of dates, constituency opportunity and EAP Committee recommendations with final review by the USHJA Executive Committee.
On August 1, 2012, the USHJA will open the application process for facilities
interested in hosting an EAP Regional Clinic in 2013. Applications must be received
in the USHJA office or postmarked no later than October 1, 2012, to be considered.
It is recommended you use a method of delivery for your application that provides
delivery confirmation.
Selection Criteria
The host facility must provide a minimum of two dates in which the facility
is available to host an EAP Regional Clinic. The dates must be scheduled between
June 1 and August 31. USHJA makes every effort to accommodate each applicant’s preference.
