Administrative Committees
Administrative Committees include: Audit Committee,
Board of Directors,
Finance Committee,
Marketing Committee,
Planning Committee,
Rules Committee and
Wheeler Museum Committee
Sport Committees
There are 13 Sport Committees of the USHJA. They include
Affiliates,
Amateur,
Chairs Council,
Competition Management,
Competition Standards,
Emerging Athletes Program,
High Performance Hunter,
Horse and Rider Advocates,
Officials,
Professionals,
Stewards,
Trainer Certification,
World Championship Hunter Rider,
Young Professionals and
Youth Committees.
The Amateurs, Competition Management,
Officials, Professionals, and Youth committees each elect one
representative Director to the Board of Directors in conjunction with the
Nominating Committee as set forth in Article 401, Section 7.
Task Forces
There are six Task Forces:
Hunt Seat Equitation,
Hunter Breeding,
Junior Hunter,
Open Hunter,
Pony Hunter, and
Pony Hunter Breeding.
There are also two additional task forces: the Owners Task Force can be found under the Amateurs Committee and
the Course Designers Task Force can be found under the Officials Committee.
Zone Committees
There are two zone councils:Hunter Zone Council and
Jumper Zone Council.
Each of the 12 USHJA Zones have a hunter and jumper committee.
